This is funny,

I was trolling DMOZ to see if cheaptravelforums.com was ever added to DMOZ. Of course it was not yet listed but I found something else to amuse me.  I found a site called Travel.org.  I thought for sure with a name like that it would be a kick ass site.  Well I was wrong, dead wrong!.

and if you think that’s bad.  If you scroll down a little more there is link which says

Nothing is different!.  Its the same site

Ladies and Gentlemen Travel.org is truely an internet Dinosaur.  Its a shame too because that name is priceless.  They can probably hire a real web designer with the amount of money they can get from that domain name.

    Dear giftedwon:
    I concur that the design of travel.org is well overdue for an overhaul. Believe me, I apologize for it daily, and I built it. Having read your comment, I have removed the link to the archive site, since the reason for it’s inclusion was not for the general populace, but merely for quick reference by the legal consul for an issue regarding it’s ownership, now resolved. I have also placed a link to your travel forum on one of my pages. Somtimes things happen in one’s life that divert one from doing the thing they love to other things. Such is the case with travel.org. I was younger then and on the cutting edge enough back in April of 1995 to have registered it and built it that summer after having learned html from scratch, but through my own series of unfortunate events found myself pulled every which way but to upgrading it. I found myself mainly handling tech support for my partner’s domains instead (he registered numerous keyword domains that same year). Last month, things changed, and I am now free to move forward with it. It is my own little labor of love, and certainly can do better than it has, so wish me luck. Sincerely, Jenifer Poole
