Let us all put all of our of problems to the side today. If you are an American you really should thank a veteran today. Today is a veterans day which is a day that we remember and thank all of our US troops who have fought and died for our country. The US military is very close to my heart, family friends and my professional life. We are able to live free and breath freely in this country thanks to our veterans.
Let us not forget them.
We should be observing this holiday now more than ever. This weekend is the time to be thinking about issues confronting our troops and their families. A good way to get involved is to check out the the Wounded Warrior Project. It’s a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness for U.S. troops severely wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. It really puts a face on the cost of this conflict. Here’s a link:
